MARK 6750 - Introduction to Econometrics
Estimation and hypothesis-testing techniques using the linear regression model, with emphasis on the least-squares estimator and its performance under different statistical assumptions. A hands-on approach, stressing a wide range of empirical applications. When this course is taught as a split level, additional requirements for graduate students: In addition to the regular course requirements, graduate students will have to complete an empirical research project that demonstrates, in an application relevant to their graduate studies, a mastery of the econometric techniques covered in the course.
